Full-year gold production was 6% above the top end of its 260,000-to-310,000-ounce guidance range.

The AIM-traded company reported quarterly sales of 74,648 ounces of gold and 3,531 tonnes of copper, with full-year sales of 326,859 ounces and 14,729 tonnes, respectively.

Cash rose by $81m during the quarter to $1.29bn at 30 June, with no debt, after capital expenditure and $87m of tax instalment payments.

At 1123 BST, shares in Greatland Resources were up 0.66% at 610p.
