Aster says Q3 adds Aster Card, which makes on-chain balances usable for everyday payments, according to its update on what shipped and what Q3 adds.
Aster Card extends the project from trading and market access into day-to-day spending. That can widen the practical role of the ecosystem by giving holders another direct use for on-chain balances instead of limiting activity to investment, trading, or transfers.
The operational change is availability of a payments rail tied to balances already inside the ecosystem. If users adopt it, that could make Aster more useful in routine transactions as well as financial ones.
