Axelar announced that XRP Ledger and the XRPL EVM Sidechain are now live on Axelar App, enabling XRP and other tokens to move in and out through its Interchain Token Service.
The change expands XRP's cross-chain connectivity and can improve access to liquidity across networks supported by Axelar. Operationally, that gives users and applications another route to transfer assets between ecosystems instead of remaining limited to the native ledger environment.
The scope is still about availability rather than proven usage. The integration establishes the connection, but it does not by itself show transaction volume, fee capture, or added demand for XRP, so any broader effect depends on whether users and builders adopt the new transfer path.
