A consortium formed by Brazilian power company Alupar BMFBOVESPA:ALUP3 and the Infra II Investment fund won on Friday the largest lot in a power transmission auction in the country, securing projects expected to require 1.1 billion reais ($212.78 million) in investment.
The consortium's bid was a 52% discount from the revenue it can earn from the projects, according to the auction results released in Sao Paulo at stock exchange B3.
