China's National Energy Administration said China had 23.057 million electric vehicle charging facilities and charging guns at the end of June 2026, up 43.2% year on year. Public charging facilities totaled 5.009 million, up 22.3%, with installed power of 247 million kW and average power per gun of about 49.35 kW. Private charging facilities reached 18.048 million, up 50.4%, and registered electricity capacity for private chargers was 155 million kVA, according to Jiemian News.

The report also said Ping An New Energy Vehicle ETF (515700) rose to 2.1 yuan as of 10:18 on July 29, 2026, while its tracked China Securities New Energy Vehicle Industry Index saw mixed performance, led by Changan Auto, which gained 3.42%, followed by BYD up 2.46% and Gotion High-Tech up 2.29%. Do-Fluoride was the biggest decliner. The fund recorded net inflows for four straight days, with a single-day high of 40.1504 million yuan and cumulative inflows of 84.6959 million yuan, or an average of 21.174 million yuan a day.
