Injective announced that POSCO International and LG CNS selected its network for their first blockchain-based trade finance pilot, which completed a transaction using trade receivables generated through real commercial activity on Injective.
The completed transaction provides institutional validation for using Injective in a tokenized trade finance workflow. Recording trade receivables onchain can give participating organizations a shared record, reducing reliance on fragmented records and manual reconciliation across issuance and settlement. The pilot also combines synchronized records with AI-assisted review of trade documents, showing how the network can support several operational steps in one process.
The result demonstrates a completed use case, but it remains a pilot involving one transaction and does not by itself establish broader production adoption or a wider market effect.
