Manta Network said Manta Atlantic will be deprecated as its Polkadot parachain slot expires on Aug 1, 2026, completing the ecosystem's transition to Manta Pacific.
The announced change formalizes Manta's move away from its Polkadot parachain setup and leaves Manta Pacific as the remaining network focus. Operationally, that removes the need to maintain or renew the parachain lease structure tied to Atlantic and simplifies the project's positioning around a single-chain EVM network.
The transition was already underway before the slot expiry, so the update is more about closing out residual uncertainty than introducing a new operating direction. A practical limit is that the notice confirms deprecation and timing, but it does not by itself show how much user activity or liquidity had still depended on Atlantic at the time of expiry.
