Indonesia’s consumer confidence index dropped to 117.8 in June 2026 from 120.9 in the previous month, marking its lowest level since September 2025.
The moderation was largely driven by weaker assessments of current economic conditions, which fell by 3.0 points to 109.2.
Sentiment toward durable goods purchases also decreased by 2.4 points to 105.9, while perceptions of job availability over the past six months fell by 3.2 points to 101.8.
Moreover, expectations for income over the next six months moderated by 2.9 points to 133.6.
At the same time, expectations regarding job availability also declined by 3.7 points to 124.4, while expectations for business activity fell by 3.3 points to 121.2.
