An Asia-bound supertanker carrying Saudi oil has left the Red Sea via the longer Suez Canal route, while other vessels continue to take the riskier Bab el-Mandeb Strait, according to Bloomberg.

The movement comes as Houthi threats heighten uncertainty in the region and raise concern over shipping through the Red Sea corridor.
