Apple NASDAQ:AAPL is reportedly preparing updates across its entire Mac lineup, as the company looks to capitalize on rising demand for computers capable of handling artificial intelligence workloads.

Apple could release a new MacBook Pro powered by its M6 chip later this year, alongside refreshed iMacs, Bloomberg reported. An M7-powered MacBook Pro is expected in 2027, while a redesigned model with an OLED display and touch capabilities is also under development.

Apple sells smartphones, computers, tablets and wearables, while generating recurring revenue from services. Its custom-designed chips have become a key advantage, helping Macs deliver strong performance while running increasingly demanding AI applications.

The company is also developing a new MacBook Air, refreshed Mac mini and Mac Studio models, and an updated MacBook Neo featuring an A19 Pro processor and additional memory. Higher component costs remain a concern after Apple raised prices across several products amid a memory shortage.
