Fortune's 2026 Global 500 ranking placed JD.com at 41st, up three places from last year, according to Ming Pao. The company has appeared on the list for 11 consecutive years and ranked first among mainland private enterprises for a third straight year.

JD.com was also the Chinese private company with the largest workforce in the Fortune Global 500. As of end-2025, its total headcount exceeded 900,000, and human resources spending reached RMB 157.2 billion.
