Meta NASDAQ:META is scheduled to release second-quarter 2026 financial results after markets close Wednesday, with investors expected to focus on artificial intelligence investments and any update on a potential cloud infrastructure strategy.

Meta is projected to post earnings of $7.2 a share on revenue of about $60.16 billion. In the prior quarter, Meta reported revenue of $56.31 billion, up 33% from a year earlier, while adjusted earnings reached $7.31 per share. The company also forecast second-quarter revenue between $58 billion and $61 billion and reaffirmed planned 2026 capital expenditures of $125 billion to $145 billion.

Meta has recently drawn attention following reports that it may be negotiating a multibillion-dollar computing capacity agreement with Anthropic, a move that could support broader AI infrastructure efforts. Investors are expected to listen for any comments on AI commercialization, advertising demand, Reality Labs spending, and capital investment plans.

Analysts remain broadly positive ahead of the report. Bank of America lifted its revenue and earnings forecasts, citing healthy advertising trends and operating efficiencies, while Mizuho and Bernstein maintained bullish ratings. Meta has exceeded Wall Street's earnings and revenue estimates for eight consecutive quarters, raising expectations for another closely watched report.
