OpenAI's ChatGPT is about to surpass 1 billion weekly active users, according to 36Kr, after the company had originally aimed to reach that milestone by the end of last year. The target is now roughly seven months behind schedule, but ChatGPT has still become one of the fastest-growing internet products, reaching the scale in less than four years. A company spokesperson declined to comment.
