Salesforce NYSE:CRM said it will invest $1 billion in Switzerland over the next 5 years as the software company pushes deeper into agentic AI across Europe.
The investment will support Salesforce's local workforce, customer and partner ecosystem, and AI skills programs in Switzerland. The announcement came from Chair and CEO Marc Benioff during a Geneva visit ahead of the AI for Good Global Summit, where he is set to co-chair the first AI for Good Global Commission meeting.
Salesforce said Switzerland is becoming a key AI governance hub, with the ITU, World Economic Forum and other international organizations based there. The country is also set to host the Global AI Summit in 2027.
The company said its Agentforce AI platform is already being used by Swiss organizations including Oviva, FREITAG, the World Economic Forum and Syngenta across healthcare, manufacturing and financial services.
