RatingDog's July China manufacturing purchasing managers' index fell to 50.9 from 51.7 in June, below market expectations of 52, according to Ming Pao.

The latest reading was the lowest since March, when the index was 50.8, and marked the eighth straight month above 50. That matched the November 2023 to June 2024 stretch as the longest continuous expansion period in nearly five years.
