Two Japanese-owned supertankers carrying 4 million barrels of Saudi Arabian crude were heading to the Strait of Hormuz to exit the Gulf, shipping data on LSEG and Kpler showed.
One of the tankers is owned and managed by Nippon Yusen KK TSE:9101 and the other is from Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha TSE:9107, LSEG data showed.
