Wanchain Bridge Cardano Cross-Chain Bridge Hacked, NIGHT Token Falls Over 30%

Wanchain said its Bridge Cardano cross-chain bridge was attacked on July 20, 2026, and NIGHT tokens were stolen. According to ChainCatcher, Wanchain asked the attacker to return 90% of the stolen NIGHT tokens by 12:00 UTC on August 6, and said the attacker could keep 10% as a white-hat bounty with no civil liability pursued.

Community users said the hacker had already swapped the NIGHT tokens on a DEX. NIGHT fell more than 30% and was trading at $0.0188 at the time of the report.
