Volkswagen (VWAGY) reported modest second-quarter revenue growth but lowered its full-year sales outlook after weaker vehicle deliveries weighed on the first half.
Revenue rose 2% from a year earlier to 82.44 billion. However, the group sold 4 million vehicles during the first six months of 2026, down 8.4% from 4.4 million a year earlier.
Volkswagen owns brands including Audi, Porsche, koda and Bentley, alongside its namesake passenger-car business. The company is navigating softer global auto demand while spending heavily on electric vehicles, software and manufacturing upgrades.
Management now expects 2026 revenue to fall between 3% and remain flat from last year, compared with its previous forecast for growth of up to 3%. It maintained its operating return on sales target of 4% to 5.5%, while forecasting automotive net cash flow of 3 billion to 6 billion.
