The Bank of Japan said its new board member, Ayano Sato, will hold a news conference at 5:00 p.m. (0800) GMT on Tuesday.
Sato is the second board member to be appointed by Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. Sato's debut policy meeting will be on July 30-31.
