Brazil's 2026/27 agricultural Safra Plan will total between 608 billion and 610 billion reais ($117.53 billion and $117.91 billion), newspaper Estadao reported late on Monday citing an interview with Agriculture Minister Andre de Paula.
The plan will provide a record 525.1 billion reais in funds available for financing medium and large-scale farmers, Estadao said.
According to the report, the total amount fell short of the agribusiness sector's request, which had sought between 623 billion and 674 billion reais.
