  • Brokers were bracing for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's June 30 acreage and quarterly stocks reports, which have a history of jolting markets.

  • At the Gulf, CIF corn barges loaded in June were bid at 87 cents over CBOT July (CN26) futures, up 4 cents from Thursday.

  • July CIF corn barges traded at 91 and 92 cents over futures, up from Thursday's trades at 89 cents over futures.

  • FOB export premiums for Gulf corn vessels loaded in July were flat at about 103 cents over futures and August premiums held at 108 cents over September (CU26) futures.

  • Rumors continued to swirl that Chinese buyers were seeking offers for U.S. Gulf soybeans, but confirmation was lacking, brokers said.

  • CIF soybean barges loaded in June traded at 80 cents over CBOT July (SN26) futures, matching Thursday's bids, and July barges were bid at 90 cents over futures, steady with Thursday.

  • FOB export premiums for soybean vessels loaded at the Gulf in July held at about 110 cents over July futures and premiums for August loadings were steady at 108 cents over CBOT August (SQ26) futures, after firming a day earlier.

  • Four vessels are due to call at French ports to load barley for China, marking the first such shipments for the 2026/27 season that begins in July, data compiled by LSEG showed.
