The Chinese government has appointed Cheng Fubo as the Communist Party chief of its state-owned asset regulator, a statement released by the regulator showed on Tuesday.
Zhang Yuzhuo, the former chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, was removed from the role in early June. He had been appointed as the party chief of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
