China Galaxy Securities said the "six networks" are a key infrastructure foundation for implementing China’s technology strategy and are expected to advance more quickly. The six networks are the water network, new-type power grid, computing network, next-generation communications network, urban underground pipeline network and logistics network. According to Jiemian News, the computing network, next-generation communications network and new-type power grid are closely tied to the technology sector. The brokerage said the computing network, a key infrastructure element in the AI era, would link computing facilities nationwide into one network to enable cross-regional and cross-industry dispatch and support large-model training and inference. It said the next-generation communications network would cover 5G-A, 6G and satellite internet to provide integrated space-air-sea connectivity for embodied intelligence and connected vehicles, while the new-type power grid would support coordination between computing centers and renewable energy to help manage power-load swings caused by AI demand. China Galaxy Securities said these three networks together form the digital base for the smart economy, and said the computing network has already entered the implementation stage.
