Chinese President Xi Jinping will host a gathering on July 1 in Beijing to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported on Monday.

Xi will deliver a speech during the event, which is set to begin at 10 a.m. at the Great Hall of the People.
