Stacks says on its Bitcoin Staking Roadmap page that the first PoX-5 restacking cycles begin, starting the initial cycles for the updated staking mechanism.

This is the first live checkpoint for the revised cycle design rather than a new feature announcement on its own. For STX holders who follow staking participation, the start of these cycles shows that the PoX-5 rollout is moving from planning into operation.

A limitation is that the milestone confirms availability of the new cycle process, not how widely it will be used at the start. Early cycle activity can show that the mechanism is running, but adoption depends on whether holders and related services actually take part.
