Czech manufacturing activity expanded at the fastest rate in more than four years in June as output rose, the S&P Global Purchasing Managers' Index showed on Wednesday.
The headline PMI climbed to 53.9 in June from 52.2 in May, the highest reading since April 2022 and comfortably above the 50 mark that divides expansion from contraction.
Analysts polled by Reuters had forecast a reading of 51.8.
The survey showed that new orders were at their highest since February 2022, and employment edged into positive territory for the first time since December.
