The Czech Finance Ministry on Monday proposed ending a capping mechanism for retail automotive fuel prices, and ending a fuel excise tax discount from July 20 as the market situation improves, the ministry said.

The two measures were introduced in April to reduce the impact of oil price surges following the United States' attack on Iran.
