Vietnam’s economy expanded 8.39% yoy in Q2 2026, accelerating from 7.83% in the prior quarter and bringing first-half growth to 8.18%.
Growth remained broad-based across all major sectors, led by industry and construction, which accelerated to 10.51% from 9.01% and accounted for 50.07% of total value added.
Services grew 7.87%, easing slightly from 8.33% while contributing 44.28% of the economy, whereas agriculture, forestry, and fisheries picked up to 4.06% from 3.68%, representing the remaining 10.51%.
