FITCH REVISES BE SEMICONDUCTOR INDUSTRIES N.V.'S OUTLOOK TO POSITIVE FROM STABLE; AFFIRMS RATING AT 'BB+'
The Positive Outlook reflects Fitch's expectation of a semiconductor market recovery in 2026-2027, underpinned by strong demand for artificial intelligence (AI)-related advanced packaging and recovery in mobile and automotive applications, added the credit rating agency.
Combined with reduced debt, we may upgrade the rating if performance is not weaker than our rating case, Fitch also said.
The affirmation reflects BESI's strong market share in semiconductor assembly equipment manufacturing, long-standing customer relationships, high profitability and low leverage.
