Bureau Veritas's operations should improve after the first quarter, Bernstein analysts Will Kirkness and Filippo Giardini say in a research note. The first three months of the year likely mark the French lab-testing and inspection group's weakest period of the year, the analysts say. Issues such as weaker demand in the agriculture, food and commodities division, delayed inspections in the industry division, and headwinds in government services are expected to ease later in the year, they say. As those pressures fade, revenue growth and margins should recover in the second half of 2026, they add. Shares trade broadly flat at 26.34 euros. (nina.kienle@wsj.com)
