Northwest European gasoline refining margins fell $3.35 to $34.40 a barrel on Monday after oil prices rose more than 1%.

  • Equinor sold around 2,000 metric tons of Eurobob E10 gasoline barges to Exxon.

  • An additional 10,000 tons of Eurobob E5 gasoline barges were traded, with Exxon selling to Gunvor and TotalEnergies.

  • Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged on Sunday that fuel supply problems had created shortages in Russian regions and a task force was working on ensuring sufficient quantities were provided throughout the country. He said gasoline reserves were being used and now stood at 1.7 million metric tons and that July production levels should exceed those recorded in June.

  • Ukrainian attacks have caused fuel shortages to spread from Russian-annexed Crimea to nearby parts of southern Russia, and even to the capital Moscow, which has previously been spared, residents say.

  • India has lifted restrictions on the sale of petrol and diesel imposed this month amid disruptions to global supply chains due to the war in the Middle East, the government said in an order.
