Europe is facing a record-breaking heat wave, with temperatures hitting historic highs, including readings above 110 degrees Fahrenheit in France, according to Bloomberg.

Bloomberg News reporters Joe Wertz and Emma Court said such extreme heat events are likely to become more frequent globally, potentially pushing up costs and adding to so-called “climate inflation,” increasing financial pressure on consumers.
