Shares of Indian Hume Pipe Company rose nearly 6 percent after it received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth Rs 738.61 crore (including GST) from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Rajasthan.

At 12:54 pm, Indian Hume Pipe Company was quoting at Rs 352.65, up Rs 18.95, or 5.68 percent, on the BSE.

The order pertains to the design and construction of the Narmada-based Water Supply Project for 275 villages across the Dhorimanna and Chouhtan blocks in Barmer district under the JICA-funded Rajasthan Rural Water Supply & Fluorosis Mitigation Project Phase II.

The project is to be executed on an SPR basis and is scheduled for completion within 24 months, followed by a one-year defect notification period and 10 years of operation and maintenance (O&M).

In the previous trading session, the share closed up 2.31 percent or Rs 7.55 at Rs 333.70.

The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 490 and a 52-week low of Rs 280 on 10 July, 2025 and 11 June, 2026, respectively. Currently, the stock is trading 27.14 percent below its 52-week high and 27.5 percent above its 52-week low.

The market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 1,880.74 crore.
