Indonesia's stock exchange has set a target to increase its market capitalisation to 30,000 trillion rupiah ($1.68 trillion) by 2030, exchange chief Jeffrey Hendrik said on Tuesday.

  • The 2030's market cap target is 87.5% higher that last year's figure of around 16,000 trillion rupiah.

  • Aside from boosting the market cap by 2030, the stock exchange also wants to increase the daily equity market transaction value to 31 trillion rupiah, with a total of 1,100 listed companies and 35 million investors.

  • In 2025, average daily transactions in Jakarta's stock market reached a value of 18.06 trillion rupiah with 956 publicly listed companies, according to the exchange's website.
