Kuwait's crude oil production rose to 1.65 million barrels per day in June, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday, sharply higher than May's average of 578,000 bpd.

Daily production rose to as high as 1.9 million bpd in the last 10 days of June, the source added.

A spokesperson for Kuwait Petroleum Corporation did not immediately reply to a Reuters request for comment.
