Technology infrastructure company Kyndryl is working with Microsoft to expand its sovereignty solution platform.
Microsoft will contribute its sovereign cloud capabilities to Kyndryl's platform to help customers design, build and operate cloud architectures, the companies said Wednesday.
Cloud sovereignty, which is when digital assets are subject only to the laws of a specific jurisdiction, is increasingly in demand as governments and highly regulated industries are expanding and in need of increasingly complex technology.
Customers can use Kyndryl's sovereignty assessment to evaluate their position across data domains and identify gaps. Kyndryl's operations will incorporate Microsoft's capabilities, including its public cloud solutions through Azure and Microsoft 365.
