JPMorgan NYSE:JPM on Wednesday named Rahul Badhwar as senior country officer for India, according to a statement.

Badhwar was previously the global head of corporate sales, markets and securities services at HSBC LSE:HSBA. He will report to Sjoerd Leenart, the CEO for Asia Pacific at JPMorgan.

In March, Reuters reported that JPMorgan had appointed Badhwar as its senior country officer for India.
