McDonald's appointed Bryan Brown as chief development officer for the U.S., effective July 14.
Brown succeeds Tabassum Zalotrawala, who served in the position for three years. Zalotrawala will take on a new role as McDonald's senior vice president of global development and restaurant design.
Brown has more than three decades of experience across restaurant development, real estate, construction and design, the fast food chain said. Most recently, he spent a decade with fried chicken chain Raising Cane's, where he's credited with helping to grow the brand from a regional concept into a national restaurant system.
