Amazon raised its full-year capital spending outlook to $220 billion after the market close on Thursday, U.S. Eastern time. CEO Andy Jassy said on an investor call that even at that level of investment, compute supply would still not fully meet all customer demand in 2026, and the company expects a supply gap again in 2027. He added that the amount of compute orders already booked by customers for 2028 is "very impressive," according to 36Kr.
