National Beverage's profit sand revenue slipped in its recently completed fiscal year as geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainties weighed on sales.
For the fiscal year ended May 2, the non-alcoholic beverage company reported net income of $183.6 million, or $1.96 a share, compared with $186.8 million, or $1.99 a share, for the prior year.
Revenue declined 1.7% to $1.2 billion.
The company said it expects improved market dynamics in the future, including lower commodity prices and greater consumer spending flexibility.
The company also said it would pay a special cash dividend of $3.25 a share.
The dividend is to be paid on or before July 30 to shareholders of record on July 13.
