Meta Platforms Inc.'s Facebook and Instagram served thousands of ads for AI "nudify" apps in violation of company policy, with the ads delivered by one of Meta's few advertising partners in China, according to Bloomberg and a report from the nonprofit Tech Transparency Project.

The report said the ads were run on both platforms despite Meta's restrictions on such content.
