Nvidia (NVDA, Financials), the leading designer of graphics processors and AI computing chips, sought to reassure investors that its long-term growth plans remain firmly on track as questions continue to surround AI spending, product launches and competition.

Following discussions with Nvidia's investor relations team, Citi reiterated its Buy rating on the company, calling it its top large-cap data center semiconductor stock. The bank pointed to Nvidia's strong access to high-bandwidth DRAM memory, a critical component for AI systems.

The company said development of its next-generation Rubin Ultra platform remains on schedule and confirmed there have been no changes to its NVLink architecture. Nvidia also said adoption of its networking technology continues to grow, while future platforms will give customers greater flexibility through both optical and copper interconnect options.

Management said AI demand remains healthy across hyperscale cloud providers, startups, governments and enterprise customers. It expects sovereign AI projects and on-premise deployments to make up a larger share of future growth as AI adoption expands.

Nvidia also reaffirmed its target of returning 50% of annual free cash flow to shareholders, maintained its gross margin outlook in the mid-70% range and said its recent $25 billion debt offering provides additional financial flexibility.

Investors will now be watching Nvidia's next earnings report for updates on customer spending, AI infrastructure demand and progress on its upcoming product launches.
