Nvidia NASDAQ:NVDA supplier Wistron has opened its first U.S. AI server factory in Fort Worth, Texas, expanding the chipmaker's domestic manufacturing network as demand for AI infrastructure continues to surge.
The 324,000-square-foot facility will produce Nvidia Grace Blackwell Ultra systems and eventually Vera Rubin Superchips. Wistron is investing a combined $700 million in advanced U.S. manufacturing, with output expected to reach tens of thousands of AI server boards per month this year.
Nvidia designs the GPUs and computing platforms that power many of the world's largest AI systems. It relies on manufacturing partners such as Wistron, TSMC and Foxconn to assemble chips, servers and related hardware at scale.
The Texas plant forms part of Nvidia's broader commitment to manufacture as much as $500 billion of advanced AI infrastructure in the U.S. Its partner network now spans 43 states.
