Bank OZK's board approved a program to repurchase up to $200 million of the company's common stock, effective July 1.

Under its prior plan expiring July 1, it bought about 3.9 million shares for roughly $177 million, at an average price of about $45.34 a share.

Bank OZK is a Little Rock, Ark.-based, regional bank with more than 265 offices in nine states and about $41.7 billion of assets as of March 31.
