Streamex shares rose in premarket trading Tuesday after the company said it would repurchase about 10 million shares for cancellation.

Shares were trading 14% higher ahead of the morning bell at $1.25.

The technology and infrastructure company said that its board has authorized the buyback of shares at a price of up to $2.00 apiece over the next 12 months.

The stock has been under heavy pressure so far in 2026, falling in value by 64% to close on Monday at $1.09 a share. Over the last 52 weeks, the stock has lost about 91% of its value.

"The board's authorization of this repurchase program is a direct expression of our confidence in Streamex's value and our conviction in the company's long-term trajectory," said Executive Chairman Morgan Lekstrom.
