Weight Watchers said Tuesday that its Med+ platform will help eligible Medicare beneficiaries access GLP-1 weight-loss drugs through the new Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program.

The program, which runs from July 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2027, allows eligible Medicare Part D beneficiaries to purchase certain GLP-1 medications for weight loss for $50 a month. Eligible drugs include Eli Lilly's Zepbound and Novo Nordisk's Wegovy.

Weight Watchers said Med+ clinicians will prescribe the medications when appropriate, manage patient care, and help members navigate insurance coverage, paperwork and prior authorizations.

The company said the program also provides nutrition guidance, medication tracking, refill reminders and coaching designed to help patients stay on treatment and manage side effects.
