Netflix, Disney and YouTube are interested in bidding with Fox for U.S. broadcast rights to the 2030 and 2034 FIFA World Cups, and Amazon and Apple may also join the process, according to Jiemian News. People familiar with the matter said FIFA is expected to begin negotiations with potential media partners within the next three months. In earlier preliminary talks this year, FIFA told media companies that U.S.-market English- and Spanish-language rights are likely to be sold as a single package, rather than separately as in past tournaments including the 2026 World Cup. Executives at media companies are said to be budgeting $1.5 billion to $2.0 billion per tournament for the combined U.S. rights package.
