Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Ltd reported steady growth in its loan and deposit book for the quarter ended June 30 on Sunday, July 5, while disbursements registered a sharp year-on-year increase, according to the bank's Q1 business update.

Gross loan advances rose 2% year-on-year and 1.4% sequentially to ₹19,612 crore.

Total deposits stood at ₹22,053 crore, up 2.6% from a year earlier and 1.8% higher than the previous quarter.

The bank's CASA (Current Account Savings Account) deposits increased 15.1% year-on-year to ₹4,867 crore, although they declined 6.3% on a sequential basis.

Consequently, the CASA ratio improved to 22.1% from 19.7% a year ago but eased from 24% in the March quarter.

Meanwhile, total disbursements surged 48% year-on-year to ₹3,370 crore, reflecting strong lending activity. On a sequential basis, however, disbursements declined 20% compared with the previous quarter.

The figures were released as part of the bank's provisional business update for the first quarter of FY27.

Shares of Utkarsh SFB ended marginally lower on Friday, July 3, by 0.86% at ₹15.01 on the NSE.
