Kazakhstan's oil and gas condensate production rose 2% month on month in June to 8.59 million metric tons, or 2.16 million barrels per day, from 2.12 million bpd in May, a source familiar with preliminary data said.

  • Crude oil production, excluding gas condensate, increased to 1.92 million bpd from 1.88 million bpd in May, up 1.7%.

  • Output at Kazakhstan's giant Tengiz oilfield, operated by a consortium led by U.S. major Chevron, rose 3.7% in June from May to 3.62 million tons, or 960,960 bpd.

  • Production at Karachaganak increased 6% to 976,000 tons in June, or 255,800 bpd.

  • Kashagan's output dipped 0.2% to 1.514 million tons, or 400,100 bpd. Kazakh authorities postponed a previously planned 30-day maintenance shutdown at Kashagan from June 2026 to 2027.

  • Kazakhstan's OPEC+ oil production quota was 1.599 million bpd in June and is set to rise to 1.608 million bpd in July.
