Dell Technologies NYSE:DELL director Egon Durban and investment firm Silver Lake reported the sale of Dell shares valued at about $27 million, according to a regulatory filing.
The filing showed that Silver Lake-affiliated entities sold 59,892 shares of Dell common stock on July 9 at prices ranging from roughly $448 to $460 per share. Before the transactions, the entities converted an equal number of Dell Class B shares into Class C shares on a one-for-one basis.
Durban, who serves on Dell's board and is also co-chief executive of Silver Lake, was listed among the reporting parties. The shares were held through investment vehicles controlled by Silver Lake and its related entities.
Following the transactions, Silver Lake and Durban continued to hold sizable positions in Dell. The filing indicated that Durban directly owned more than 1.37 million Dell shares after the sales, while additional holdings remained with affiliated entities and family-related accounts.
Dell shares have posted strong gains over the past year, with the stock recently trading near its 52-week high. Dell was down about 1.8% in recent trading Monday.
